Rennick founded Stratos in 2016 and began investing in the crypto space at that time.

Before founding Stratos, Rennick held the position of Research Associate at Sanders Capital, a $75 billion global equity manager. Rennick holds a Bachelors of Science in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Southern Methodist University, and a Masters in Quantitative Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Laurent is a Partner at Stratos leading Investment Research, Sourcing Strategy, Portfolio Support and Operations.

Before Stratos, Laurent spent 6 years as a Partner at SignalFire, a data-driven venture capital firm based in San Francisco. He led many functions across the organization, similar to his current role at Stratos. During his time at SignalFire, he built a lot of the systems and processes that enabled the firm to scale from $50M in AUM to >$2B, and from 10 portfolio companies to >200.

Laurent began his career at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) advising CEOs and executive teams of leading companies across a wide range of industries. He worked in Europe, did long-term assignments in Asia, Africa and Australia, and then spent the last few years in New York where he was a core member of the Retail, Strategy and Operations practices. Throughout his career at BCG, he was promoted fast-track and ultimately left in 2016 as one of the youngest Principals at BCG.

Laurent graduated with a BEng in Engineering with Business Finance from University College London (jointly with the London School of Economics) and also with a MS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.

As the CTO, Dustin leads our Staking & Infrastructure business and provides technical expertise to all parts of Stratos. Dustin's work enables Stratos to add enormous value to our family of portfolio companies to help launch and scale their own technical infrastructure. Dustin brings a broad array of technical knowledge and leadership to the team, as well as a decade and a half of startup experience.

Dustin spent the last 23 years building teams and solutions for the web2 internet.  He's worked in various industries from Business Integration, eCommerce, to Real Estate. Dustin has learned directly from some of the most successful internet entrepreneurs while at companies like Zappos (acquired by Amazon) and Bonobos (acquired by Walmart). He also founded multiple companies, including Floored (acquired by CBRE) which used cutting edge 3D technology to visualize commercial real estate. Dustin studied Software Engineering at MIT and earned a Masters there.

Eli is an Associate at Stratos where he is responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, and investment research.

Prior to joining Stratos in 2021, Eli worked at Lawrence Livermore Laboratory and Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where he contributed to research published in the American Institute of Physics.

Eli holds a B.S. in physics and an M.S. in information technology.

Amanda assists with our fundraising activities, human relations, and public relations as well as manages the firm’s strategic initiatives. Prior to joining Stratos, Amanda was an Analyst at JP Morgan in the Private Bank. Amanda holds a degree from the University of Tampa.
